Building an Autonomous Driving Simulation Environment

Multiple aerial photographs taken with a drone were converted into point cloud data, and a 3D model identical to the real world was created based on that point cloud data. This method made it possible to reproduce the real world with a 3D model, and furthermore, a realistic autonomous driving simulation environment was constructed by running an automobile in the reproduced environment.

Aisin Co., Ltd. has developed a beauty device “Winsell” using the world's smallest fine water particle technology. In order to know in detail the changes in skin after using Winsell, AquaAge Co., Ltd. performed image analysis using deep learning. It was confirmed that this analysis result is equivalent even when compared to the analysis results by VISIA.

We have developed an algorithm to detect dangerous scenes by capturing the movement of vehicles, pedestrians, etc. from videos of cars driving in urban areas. Furthermore, by combining deep learning and natural language processing techniques, we have succeeded in verbalizing the reasons why dangerous scenes occur.

Converting parking tickets into data with OCR

Paper parking tickets were converted into digital data using OCR (optical character recognition) technology. Furthermore, using AWS cloud technology, we have built a system that automatically converts images of parking tickets into data simply by uploading them.
